THERE were wild celebrations on the streets of Serravalle as San Marino SCORED A GOAL.
And fans of the worst football nation in the world - ranked 210th out of 210 countries in the Fifa rankings - made sure they milked it for all its glory.
The European minnows, based in the tiny microstate within Italy, faced Lithuania in a friendly on Friday night at the San Marino Stadium.
And despite trailing 2-0 at half-time, Fabrizio Constantini's side came out fighting after the break and scored thanks to Filippo Fabbri.
Fabbri, 20, is a defender for Forli in Italy's fourth tier Serie D but turned up at the other end to find the back of the net.
The goal sparked crazy scenes, especially on a fan account when they held on to win the second half and almost found a dramatic equaliser.

The goal was the part-timers' first since a 7-1 defeat to Poland in September and just their SIXTH strike since the beginning of 2016.

They also lost 10-0 to Croatia in 2016 and suffered two 9-0 losses, three 8-0 scorelines and a couple of 7-0 defeats too in the last six years.
