THERE were wild celebrations on the streets of Serravalle as San Marino SCORED A GOAL.
And fans of the worst football nation in the world - ranked 210th out of 210 countries in the Fifa rankings - made sure they milked it for all its glory.

The goal was the part-timers' first since a 7-1 defeat to Poland in September and just their SIXTH strike since the beginning of 2016.
This season they have lost all eight matches by an aggregate score of 38-2 - including their last outing, a 10-0 thrashing by England.
They also lost 10-0 to Croatia in 2016 and suffered two 9-0 losses, three 8-0 scorelines and a couple of 7-0 defeats too in the last six years.

San Marino picked up two 0-0 draws in the Nations League in 2020 - ending a run of 40 consecutive defeats dating back to a 0-0 draw with Estonia in November 2014.
