Big money signings in that period include Harry Maguire, Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho and Romelu Lukaku.

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City are £76m behind their neighbours.

New Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag has been selected as the man to fire the club back into title contention.

He'll most certainly need more than a window or two to get United back to where they belong - and so the spending will continue.

He has reportedly been handed a £200m transfer war chest with upwards of ten first-team players expected to leave this summer.

European powerhouses Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona occupy third and fourth spot.

However, the latter is paying the price for years of reckless spending and is now applying a value for money approach to the transfer market.

Four more Premier League teams find themselves inside the top ten.

Arsenal, Everton, Aston Villa and Chelsea have all spent considerable amounts of money.

Like City, Chelsea at least have silverware to show for it.

Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan also find themselves inside the top ten.

Ten of the remaining 15 teams on the net spend list come from England, showcasing the spending power of the division.

Leeds United find themselves ABOVE Real Madrid, who have a net spend of just £149m.

Real have won FOUR Champions Leagues, FOUR Club World Cups and three Super Cups since 2012.

The LaLiga giants also have two league titles and soon to be a third this season.

Real could get even better as they target a FREE transfer for PSG ace Kylian Mbappe, who is a lifelong fan.
