MANCHESTER UNITED star Harry Maguire has been pictured for the first time since his bomb scare.

The United captain, 29, was targeted on Thursday with police searching the £4million mansion where he lives with fiancee Fern Hawkins and his two young girls.

Police dog sniffers found no evidence of explosive material inside his Cheshire pad following the threatening email, which is believed to have been sent by an angry United fan.

Maguire was seen for the first time since the scare when he drove into Carrington for United training on Friday morning.

United boss Ralf Rangnick said: “I haven't seen him (Maguire) because I only got to know about this terrible, terrible thing yesterday afternoon and I haven't been able to speak with him.

“It’s another bad sign of the crazy world we're living in, I feel sorry for Harry he had that terrible experience, he knows everyone is behind him, the club, his team-mates.

"It's sad enough that crazy things like that happen.”

The Red Devils take on Arsenal in Saturday's lunchtime kick-off and Maguire, who is available for the clash, says he will not be forced out of the club.

A source close to the defender told The Sun: “Harry will not be forced out of Manchester United by this kind of threat.

“His number one priority will always be the safety of his family but he’s also got the strength of character to deal with this. It looks like the work of some cowardly fan.

“If that proves to be the case, they are an utter disgrace to the name of this proud football club.”

Maguire has come under fire for his performances this season, with the latest criticism coming after the England defender was at fault for Liverpool's first goal on Tuesday.

And although he has acknowledged some performances have been below par, Maguire argues he would not be getting picked consistently if he was playing badly.

Maguire, believed to be earning around £190,000 a week, is planning to marry Fern in the summer at a French chateau.

The couple, parents to two-year-old Lillie Saint and Piper Rose, one next month, moved into their new mansion in December.

It is located in Cheshire’s swanky “golden triangle”, which is home to a raft of Premier League stars.

A source said: “It’s really shaken them but they’re all fine. Nothing is more important than the safety of his family and Harry will do anything to ensure that.

“The police carried out searches of the house which has hopefully made them feel a bit safer.”
