Pep Guardiola's team thought they'd be playing in the grand occasion for the second season in a row until super-sub Rodrygo changed the game.

And it seemed many Real Madrid fans thought it'd be Man City in the final too as they left the stadium early.

Those that did missed Rodrygo's strikes which both came after the 90 minute mark.

The Brazilian's goals came just 91 SECONDS apart and took the tie to extra-time.

Footage on social media showed regretful supporters desperately scrambling to get back in after they had realised their mistake.

However, the supporters were punished for their pessimism and denied entry back into the ground.

It saw many watching the match they had tickets for instead being forced to watch the incredible action unfold on mobile phones or following it by listening to crowd noises at the Bernabeu walls.

Despite their dreadful mistake in leaving early, they celebrated the goals go in and partied on the streets.

Man City were coasting into the May 28 final until the game turned on it's head.

Real had not even managed a shot on target until Rodrygo's first goal.

Just three minutes into extra-time, Ruben Dias tripped Karim Benzema in the box.

The Frenchman, who’d Panenka’d Ederson in the first leg, simply sent him the wrong way.

The Madristas were in raptures as the team celebrated a miracle victory.
