Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil desperately tries to comfort girlfriend Mandy Capristo after she leaves London club in floods of tears
THE PLAYMAKER had been out celebrating after scoring in his side's emphatic three nil win over Chelsea
MESUT OZIL left Libertines nightclub with his weeping singer girlfriend Mandy Capristo probably not how he planned on celebrating Arsenal's win over Chelsea at the Emirates.
Ozil probably made a few people cry this weekend most of them Chelsea fans as his scuffed volley looped over Thibaut Courtois to seal Arsenal's 3rd and winning goal.
However on Sunday the clubs record signing was in the midst of trying to console his girlfriend as they left popular nightclub Libertines in London.
The pair had been partying together but it clearly wasn't the night they had expected as they left with Capristo very upset.
Ozil tried to hide his girlfriends face as she was crying and was in no mood to continue their night out as they both got in the car driven by Ozil.
It is not understood whether the pair had an argument or not but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be keen for his star man to keep his private life away from the football pitch.
Ozil's contract is up for re-negotiation and if the player is not having a fantastic time off the pitch then that could impact his decision to sign a new deal.
Wenger is keen to get Ozil to commit his future to the Gunners especially now his side are turning the screw finally in the big games and look ready to compete for major trophies.
