Naoya Inoue certainly didn't let up on Nonito Donaire once he had him hurt in the second round.
Inoue wants Butler
Naoya Inoue has set his sights on claiming Paul Butler's WBO bantamweight strap and becoming the undisputed king of the 118lb division.
He said: "My aim is to be the undisputed champion. If I can do that within the year of 2022, I would love to stay in this division.
"If I can't, I am capable of raising this division and fighting in the upper division."

An elated Inoue said in his post-fight interview: "Thank you so much, everyone, I did it.
"Two years and seven months ago, I fought against Nonito Donaire at the WBSS final. And came back here at the same venue.

Donaire is a lot more cautious with his entries early. But he cracks him with a big left hook that draws a big response from the crowd.
But Inoue isn't deterred and rocks the Filipino with a big hand.
Donaire is hurt and in retreat mode. Inoue going in for the kill.
Donaire is dropped with a nasty straight right-hand left hook combo.

Donaire comes out with a big looping left hook early doors - the same shot that left Inoue in all sorts of trouble in their first clash.
Inoue is happy to be on the back foot early and get a read on his fellow multiple-weight world champion.
Lead hook narrowly misses for Inoue, who lands a nice counter hook after a telegraphed entry from Donaire.
A good right hand lands for Inoue following a lightning-fast jab.
Both men land in a heavy exchange but neither are shaken to their core.

Hiraoka had Akaiwa badly hurt early in the round and the ref made the wise decision to stop the fight before any more punishment was dished out.

Akaiwa, surprisingly, reverts back to orthodox. That prompts Hiraoka to go for broke.
A vicious barrage of shots has hurt Akaiwa.
Akaiwa needs to show better defence or the ref will stop this. The ref has seen enough and waves off the fight.
Hiraoka vs Akaiwa – Round 5
Akaiwa has switched to southpaw and is giving Hiroka some more food for thought.
Hiraoka sees a four-punch combo blocked but then eats a combination of his own.
That was the best sequence of the fight for Akaiwa, who is much better from the southpaw position.
Hiraoka lands a series of thudding body shots but appears to be hurt as he's showboating after being cracked.

A much better start to the round for Akaiwa, who is starting to throw more jabs when he has Hiraoka backed up.
Hiraoka is now having to think more about his defence due to the pressure from Akaiwa.
Hiraoka needs to start sticking out the jab more instead of just looking for the home run straight left.

Hiraoka is full of confidence now and is fighting with his hands down.
And he's having success when he closes the distance and lunges in with shots.
Akaiwa needs to do something different here if he's going to have any chance of turning the tide.
Hiraoka closes the round with a stiff one-two to the body.
Hiraoka vs Akaiwa – Round 2
Hiraoka is investing heavily in the body early and landing at will on the very upright Akaiwa.
Akaiwa's stance has left him susceptible to a plethora of strikes.
But he cracks Akaiwa with a good counter right hand. Akaiwa is growing in confidence and rips down to the body.
Hiraoka, however, puts him back in his place with a nasty combination.
Hiraoka showboat before the bell but it doesn't seem to have gone down well with the crowd.

Southpaw Hiraoka has come out really strong early doors and is utilising his reach to great effect.
Hiraoka lands a good straight left that snaps back Akaiwa's head back.
Akaiwa is down courtesy of a big uppercut but he beats the count.
That seems to have woken up Akaiwa who lands two stiff straight rights in a row.

But he's back to being light on his feet and looking for counters.
The crowd is getting behind both men ahead of the final thirty seconds.
Furuhashi gets clipped with a big counter right just before the bell - which brings about a huge round of applause from the crowd.

Inoue's timing of Furuhashi's roughhousing is a lot better than it was in the mid-rounds.
But his lack of volume is a sign of his fatigue.
A good short uppercut lands for Furuhashi moments before the end of the round - which was arguably the veteran's best.
