In 25 games in the Champions League and Europa League, Haaland has bagged a remarkable 27 times, averaging a shade over a goal a game.

Nunez on the other hand has netted 11 goals in 25 matches across various international cups in Europa and South America.

That includes two against Liverpool in last season's Champions League, and while it is a respectable total, Haaland's is on a whole different level.

Haaland has also translated his stunning club form on to the international stage better than the soon-to-be Red Nunez.

The striker has netted an incredible 20 goals in 21 caps for Norway - including twice in yesterday's 3-2 win over Sweden.

Nunez meanwhile only has two goals to show for his 11 appearances for Uruguay.

Overall when domestic cups are also taken into a count Nunez averages 0.47 goals per game.

While a record of effectively a goal every other game is an impressive one, it's still some way short of Haaland's record.

The City new boy has averaged 0.77 goals per game in his short career to date.
