GUTTED Rangers stars weren’t able to make ex teammate Jermain Defoe’s plush wedding - as they had holidays booked up.
All the players were invited to the five-star bash down south where Defoe, 39, tied the knot to Scot Donna Tierney.
But only two Ibrox admin staff could make the £200,000 ceremony with some players choosing to go on abroad instead.
Other stars - including his close pals Joe Aribo, 25, and Glen Kamara, 26, were away on international duty with Nigeria and Finland respectively.
The couple wed at Cliveden House, Berkshire, last week in front of footie pals from his time in England.
A source said: “He made a lot of good pals at Rangers but the timing wasn’t good. As soon as the season is done all the players go away on holiday.

Tottenham assistant first team coach Ledley King, 41, and ex West Ham legend turned TalkSport pundit Carlton Cole, 38, witnessed the nuptials.
Also on the guest list was former Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips, 40.
