Gareth Bale has scored his 50th La Liga goal in 87 games for Real Madrid and only both Ronaldos can better that record

GARETH BALE has scored 50 La Liga goals for Real Madrid in 87 league games for the club but both Ronaldos reached the 50 goal mark in less matches. 

Bale equalised for Madrid in their match against Eibar but he is the 3rd player in the clubs history to hit 50 in the fewest appearances as he sits behind both Ronaldos.

Cristiano Ronaldo hit 50 in just an astonishing 51 La Liga games where as the other Ronaldo reached the landmark in 71 games.  

Real Madrid have a host of world class strikers in their history books and Bale can boast that he has hit 50 La Liga goals quicker than the likes of Raul.

Bale has achieved a great deal with the club twice winning the Champions League both finals against local rivals Atletico Madrid.

Many believe the mantle of the star man at Madrid is eventually going to be handed to Bale as Ronaldo appears to be showing signs of slowing up.

Reports that Ronaldo could leave the club have circled for the past year but with his huge wage demands and transfer fee he will be difficult to sign.

A possible return to Manchester United is an option but it is believed Jose Mourinho would prefer to sign Bale instead.
