‘They drove me crazy’ – Ex-Anderlecht boss slams Vincent Kompany’s ‘bulls*** stories’ and ‘nonsense’ scouting system

BURNLEY have been warned to beware of Vincent Kompany's "bull***t" - by his predecessor as Anderlecht boss.

Manchester City legend Kompany has taken charge of the relegated Clarets following three years at the Belgian giants.

Kompany failed to restore his country's biggest club to their former glories, and the 36-year-old came under fire for his "Trust the Process" motto.

Johan Boskamp, who led Anderlecht to three titles in the 1990s, has now savaged the 89-cap international.

The Dutchman, who managed Stoke during the 2005-6 season, has also coached seven other top Belgian sides and Georgia's national team.

Kompany has meanwhile been linked with a host of Anderlecht's players as he plots Burnley's instant Premier League return.

Kompany made 359 appearances for Man City over 11 years with the club.

He contributed to 30 goals in that time including a thunderbolt against Leicester City to help City win the 2019 title ahead of Liverpool.
