New Swansea City manager Bob Bradley will take charge of a match TONIGHT

Former USA boss will take charge of one final match for Le Havre before moving to the Liberty Stadium

SWANSEA CITY may have a two-week break before their next match away to Arsenal, but there's no rest for new manager Bob Bradley.

The American replaces Francesco Guidolin who was cruelly sacked on his birthday.

However before he takes over, the former USA boss will take charge of one more game with Le Havre.

The club where Paul Pogba started his career are currently 11th in Ligue 2 and take on Sochaux tonight.

Bradley beat off competition Ryan Giggs, who was reportedly favoured by chairman Huw Jenkins, to get the nod from the club's American owners.

"He [Bradley] is highly regarded as a coach and has a wealth of experience on the international and domestic front," Jenkins said of the appointment.

"He is well aware of the club's footballing philosophy and will provide us with strong leadership qualities and a renewed belief to compete at this level."

Bradley was a popular figure in the USA when he led the national team to the Last 16 of the 2010 World Cup, topping England's group in the process.

But he was relieved of his duties when he lost 4-2 to Mexico in the North American Gold Cup final a year later.

The Swans sit 17th in the Premier League but keeping them up is nowhere near as daunting as Bradley's task when he became Egypt boss after being sacked by the United States.

Bradley took on the role and chose to live in the North African country during the revolution in 2011.

And he stayed in Egypt even after a stadium disaster killed 74 and a military coup took place in 2013.
