Manchester United transfer news: Genk winger Leon Bailey scouted by Jose Mourinho’s side

Red Devils sent Chief Scout Jim Lawler to watch Jamaican score in Europa League match against Italian club Sassuolo

MANCHESTER UNITED could on the verge of making the job of commentators around the country a lot more difficult.

If Bailey does make the move to Old Trafford, then pundits will have to go out of their way to use the correct French pronunciation of defender Eric Bailly's surname to avoid confusion.

19-year-old Bailey has already scored five goals for Genk including the strike against the Italians.

The Jamaican had a bizarre start to his youth career, moving to Genk in 2013 after being illegally taken to Belgium by his agent.

However Bailey and his agent disappeared when they were raided by the Belgian Labour Ministry and the player resurfaced at AS Trencin in Slovakia.
