And nobody was more pleased than 96-year-old fan Giorgio.
He is the club's oldest fan, and Roma decided to repay his unwavering support with a surprise visit.
Club director Tiago Pinto met Giorgio and offered him the chance to hold the impressive Europa Conference League trophy.
In footage posted to Roma's account, Pinto unveiled the glittering trophy that was hidden underneath a flag.

A taken aback Giorgio exclaimed: "Thank you, look at this! This is so great."
The 96-year-old was given the chance to touch the trophy himself and get up-close and personal to the prize.
Giorgio was so overwhelmed by Roma's kind gesture he wiped away a tear from his eye and looked visibly emotional.
Thousands of Roma fans lined the streets of the Italian capital for a trophy parade after Mourinho guided his side to Europa Conference League glory in May.
