Ronaldo was due to begin pre-season training AND hold talks with Ten Hag over his future on Monday morning, but he delayed his return due to family reasons.

The club have accepted his explanation and he is still expected to spend a few days at United's HQ before jetting off on a 16 day tour of Thailand and Australia on Friday with the squad.
