ANTHONY JOSHUA is hitting the gym hard ahead of a possible unification bout with Wladimir Klitschko.

And the IBF World Heavyweight Champion has taken to Twitter to show how he is keeping himself fit while contract negotiations are thrashed out.

In an intense gym ball workout, Joshua made sure his neck and stomach muscles felt the burn.

The Watford-born Olympic gold medal winner is 17-0 in professional boxing and won the IBF title after stopping American Charles Martin in the second round.

Tyson Fury had held all three belts but was stripped of his IBF title after refusing to fight mandatory challenger Vyacheslav Glazkov, who was beaten by Martin.

The Gypsy King is set to be stripped of his boxing license next week in a meeting of the British Boxing Board of Control.

BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith said: “The Board meets next week and we’ll discuss it, I’m fairly sure.

“Cocaine is against the law of the land, we can’t ignore the law of the land. It’s drug use and we will deal with it accordingly.

“We deal with the licence, so in theory if we were to suspend him they would have no choice but to strip him because he can’t defend them, can he?

But Joshua has backed Fury to fight depression and make it back to the ring.

“I am sure we will see Tyson Fury back in the ring again,” he said.

“Tyson is a fighting man, a real talent and he is good for boxing in his own way. I really hope to see him getting back to what he does best.

“It’s too easy to point the finger because none of us really know what he is going through. What I do know is he is a fighter and all fighters eventually come back.”
