ARSENAL are reportedly on the verge of signing Oleksandr Zinchenko after agreeing personal terms with the Manchester City star.
Mikel Arteta has had his eye on the Ukraine international for much of the summer after working him at City.
According to journalist City accepted a £30million bid from the Gunners on Friday - although SunSport understands the total package is worth £32m.
And now Arsenal are hoping the deal can be concluded by the end of the week with Zinchecko agreeing a four-year contract, report .
He is set to leave City's pre-season tour of the US to undergo a medical.
Zinchenko will follow in the footsteps of Gabriel Jesus after the Brazilian completed a transfer to Arsenal in June.

Zinchenko will solve Arteta's need for a new midfielder and that could mean the club end their interest in Youri Tielemans.
But Zinchenko is also effective at left-back having played that role regularly for the Citizens.
And that means he will provide cover for Kieran Tierney with the Scot likely to miss the first match of the season.
Zinchenko's arrival would take Arsenal’s summer spending to £115million following the signings of Gabriel Jesus, Fabio Vieira, Marquinhos and Matt Turner.

The move would represent a massive profit for City, who paid just £1.6million when they bought Zinchenko from Russian minnows Ufa in 2016.
The club could use that money to sign Brighton defender Marc Cucurella as his replacement.
SunSport understands the Seagulls would demand around £50m in order to sell the 23-year-old.
