Brentford ‘agree personal terms with Ben Mee as former Burnley captain closes in on free transfer’

BRENFTORD have agreed personal terms with former Burnley captain Ben Mee, reports suggest.
Free agent Mee, 32, left the Clarets in June when his contract expired and has been targeted by the Bees ever since.
According to , Thomas Frank's side have reached a deal with the centre-back, who is set to become their fifth signing of the summer.
The versatile defender, who can also play at left-back, is set to join Aaron Hickey, Keane Lewis-Potter, Yehor Yarmoliuk and Thomas Strakosha.
The 32-year-old has reportedly turned down offers from MLS as well as two other Premier League clubs.
Frank is currently short of bodies at the back following injuries to key men Ethan Pinock and Kristoffer Ajer.

Mee spent 11 years at Turf Moor and had been captain for the last three.
He amassed a total of 12 goals and 12 assists in 376 appearances across all competitions ever since his arrival from Manchester City in 2011.
He even acted as assistant manager to Mike Jackson during the run-in last season after Sean Dyche was sacked in April.
