MANCHESTER UNITED new boy Lisandro Martinez and stunning girlfriend Muri Lopez Benitez enjoyed a date night as they settle into a new city.

Martinez, 24, is set to complete his move to the Red Devils in a £55million deal, subject to a medical and receiving work permit.

Last night he was snapped dinning at Don Giovanni's Italian restaurant in the heart of the city centre on a date night with his girlfriend.

The photos show the Argentine leaving the eatery before trying to avoid being recognised by putting his hood up before jumping into a taxi.

The versatile player is currently staying at the luxury Lowry Hotel and he is expected at Carrington training ground later today to meet his new team-mates.

It will be the first time he joins up with the squad as he was not part of the group that went to Asia on the club's pre-season tour.
