TODD BOEHLY laughed with James Corden at a plush Mayfair restaurant as the pair enjoyed dinner together.
The Chelsea owner has had a busy summer after taking over from Roman Abramovich in May.
And he kicked into gear immediately, bringing in the likes of Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly.
But it appeared he was keen for a night off from work after falling behind Barcelona in the race for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde despite virtually wrapping up a deal.
So the billionaire businessman met up with pal Corden and Clearlake Capital co-founder Behdad Eghbali on Monday evening.
The trio headed for Scott's in the prestigious area of London for some food on a boys night out.

The expensive luxury venue specialises in sea food, with Corden reportedly opting for the Dover sole.
Boehly, 48, wore a grey t-shirt, black zip-up hoody and jeans for the warm summer's evening as the friends shared plenty of laughs, washed down with some gin and tonics.
He and Corden do have professional links, too.
As well as his heavy involvement in sport as Chelsea, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Sparks owner, Boehly's holding company Eldridge owns MRC Entertainment.

That is the company that invests in Fulwell 73, a production company with whom Corden is a partner.
The Gavin and Stacey star, though, will be desperate to get one over on the Chelsea owner when the Blues host Corden's beloved West Ham in the Premier League on September 4.
It is a busy week for Boehly, who went with the Blues on their pre-season tour to America.
He is also reportedly hosting a dinner party with executives from every Premier League club tonight.
The 20 chiefs have a shareholders' meeting in London - and the American wants to take them out for dinner afterwards as he gets to know his new counterparts.
And the goodwill gesture is understood to have gone down well with the others.
