Pep praises the team
Guardiola was delighted with his side's win today, praising the whole team's performance.
I don't want to underestimate the performance from Erling it was brilliant, he's here for that. To take a penalty, incredible movement, incredible assist from Kevin. But the team in general was excellent... I cannot teach him [Haaland], no one can teach him. Erling knows himself. We just need to give him the opportunity to score more goals, this is what I have to do.
Pep Guardiola, Manchester City bossPotty-mouth Haaland’s hilarious first interview
Erling Haaland had a brilliant debut this afternoon, but an even better post-match interview, swearing twice on live TV.
Here’s what he had to say: "It was good start. Good to get some minutes in the legs still early in the season. It would have been more today, if you saw the Gundogan one before I went off, I should have been there, it's a bit s*** but that’s how it is."
After being reminded to watch his language, the Norwegian immediately apologised, swearing again in the process.
Welcome to England, Erling!
Man of the Match

In a weekend that saw Liverpool drop points to newly promoted Fulham, Manchester City aren't showing any signs of slowing down even this early on in the season.
Can anyone stop them?
