Nottingham Forest ‘make enquiry’ to Red Bull Leipzig as they plot transfer loan swoop for full-back Angelino
NOTTINGHAM FOREST are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig ace Angelino, reports suggest.
That is according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Forest have made an enquiry to Leipzig as they wish to sign the talented left-back on loan.
Manager Steve Cooper wants cover at full-back after losing summer signing Omar Richards to a hairline fracture that could keep him sidelined for quite a while.
That is why the newly-promoted Premier League side have turned to Angelino, 25, but they are facing competition for his signature.
The Spaniard has attracted interest from Brighton as well as Hoffenheim during the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has impressed at Leipzig ever since his arrival in 2020 from Manchester City on loan, which turned into a permanent deal a year later.

The former Spain Under-21 international has already amassed a total of 12 goals and 28 assists in 98 appearances across all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.
Forest have been very active in the summer transfer window as they already splashed a fee in the region of £85million for a dozen players, including Dean Henderson, Jesse Lingard, Neco Williams and more.
And Nottingham are now looking to complete three more signings before transfer deadline day as they are looking for a left-back, midfielder and forward.
Real Betis full-back Alex Moreno has been targeted but the Prem side has been struggling to agree terms.
