"Clubs spend millions of pounds scouting players across Europe, but nobody else has made a move for this fella.

"Why do you think this is? I have got a bad feeling about the guy."

Pundits on MUTV normally stay clear of anything controversial or that questions the club's decisions.

United have struggled in midfield for a long time, with Fred and Scott McTominay proving not to be up to standard - with the most recent evidence of this coming in the recent defeat to Brighton.

United looked set to remedy this at the start of summer with the addition of Frenkie de Jong, and agreed a fee with Barcelona to reunite him with Erik ten Hag.

But De Jong's reluctance to leave has forced United to look elsewhere, and despite his stats proving him to be WORSE than both Fred and McTominay, United's recruitment team have landed on Rabiot.

United could yet miss out on him however, with Rabiot's reported contract demands of £8.5m a year delaying a deal.
