'SHOCKING DECISIONS'

Chelsea fans fume as Cristian Romero gets away with pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair… moments before Tottenham score

FANS fumed as Cristian Romero got away with pulling Marc Cucurella over BY HIS HAIR - moments before Tottenham snatched a fiery, last-gasp 2-2 draw at Chelsea.

Blues' boss Thomas Tuchel's rage at both Spurs' equalisers was shared on social media after he and rival boss Antonio Conte were sent off for an amazing bust-up.

And supporters' outrage soared when a clip showed referee Anthony Taylor looking on closely with a clear view just yards away as Romero grabbed Cucurella deep.

Pierre-Emile-Hojbjerg and Harry Kane on 96 minutes cancelled out strikes from Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James.

But Tuchel slammed both Tottenham goals, saying: "There was a clear foul on Kai Havertz and the situation goes on and on.

"Richarlison was offside and when can you pull hair on a football field? It's ridiculous."

One fan called it "shocking" and another argued: "VAR can only give a red card but for me being dragged down by your hair is a dismissal."

And this tweet spoke for many: "How does he not even give a foul with that view?"

Romero himself stoked up the debate by "liking a tweet" urging Cucurella to "stop crying".

The post claimed everything was "even" as Chelsea's new left-back had earlier escaped unpunished for fouling the Argentina centre-back.

But most observers on social media were incredulous at the ref's inaction.

One such message read: "Anthony Taylor is just so useless, he’s always against Chelsea. How on earth is this not a foul? maybe if he had punched his head off that’s when he will give that as a foul."

Tuchel was especially angry as he claimed Chelsea "dominated for 90 minutes".

He told Sky Sports: "We were sharp, we were hungry, it was a top performance.

"I'm sorry for all my players that we didn't get the result we deserved."

And of his flare-up with opposite number Conte, he said: "I thought when we shake hands you looked in each other eyes, he he had a different opinion. It was not necessary but a lot of things were not necessary."
