Tyson Fury to tell WBC he WILL continue boxing career and isn’t retired – keeping his world title belts

TYSON FURY is set to tell the WBC that he will fight again and is NOT retired.

The Gypsy King hung up his gloves after his victory over Dillian Whyte in April, before reiterating his retirement on his 34th birthday.

Fury's second "retirement" announcement saw him vacate Ring Magazine's heavyweight title - but the WBC opted to give him more time.

Their deadline for his decision was initially today, but this was extended to Friday September 2 following the tragic passing of Fury's cousin Rico Burton.

, Fury has already told his team to pass on the message to the WBC that he WILL fight again.

The Gypsy King is expected to target a huge heavyweight unification bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

Anthony Joshua's conqueror admitted last weekend that Fury is the only fight that he craves.

And the 35-year-old's promoter Alex Krassyuk has already revealed that the match up is "in the making".

Fury's promoter Frank Warren said: "Both fighters want it.

Usyk is Ring Magazine's No1 pound-for-pound fighter, overtaking Japanese bantamweight Naoya Inoue after his win over Joshua last weekend.

Fury recently claimed that he wants £500MILLION to fight Usyk.

He wrote on Instagram: "The world's biggest fight has to be the world's biggest money if I'm to put it all on the line vs some unknown foreigner.

"Boys, better get that half a billy. If not, keep that little mug."

Fury then set a September 1 deadline for a deal to be completed.
