NOTTINGHAM FOREST are increasing their offer for Blackpool winger Josh Bowler to £3million — but are still falling short.
The Seasiders are holding out for £4m for the 23-year-old even though his contract ends this season.
Forest are likely to return again before the window shuts although if they are late Blackpool won’t have time to bring in replacements.
Watford are also interested in Bournemouth target Bowler if they lose another forward while Fulham keep an eye on developments.
Bowler could become Forest's TWENTIETH summer signing.
Steve Cooper's side are set to unveil Atletico Madrid star Renan Lodi on Sunday once he undergoes his medical, making the full-back their eighteenth arrival.

Hwang Ui-jo was Forest's seventeenth acquisition this summer.
But he's been sent out on loan straight away to Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis' other side Olympiakos.
Hwang scored 11 goals in 32 appearances last season but could not save Bordeaux from relegation from Ligue 1.

Hwang's immediate departure means Forest will have to rely on the likes of Jesse Lingard to provide the goals this season.
Lingard moved to Forest after cutting ties with Manchester United this summer.
And he was joined by ex-United team-mate Dean Henderson at the club.
