Joe Hart left with bloody gash after being studded in head during Celtic’s 9-0 thumping of Dundee United
THIS is the shocking moment Joe Hart was left with a bloody gash after being studded in the head.
The goalie had a game to remember as he kept a clean sheet in Celtic’s 9-0 win at Dundee United on Sunday.
But before a single score had been registered, Hart took a horrific blow to the head while making a save.
Pouncing on a ball just six yards out from the net, Celtic ace Hart was brutally booted by Dundee’s Steven Fletcher.
The striker was also trying to get the ball, which was up for grabs.
But Fletcher instead studded Hart in the head by mistake while stretching for a shot.

Incredibly, Hart still made the save with his finger tips.
But the former Manchester City and England star was left with blood pouring from the point of contact.
Medics rushed on before attempting to stop the flow with bandages and towels.
Staples were then used to patch Hart up during a seven-minute stoppage before the stopper bravely continued playing while wearing a new shirt.

One added: “What a trooper. Just when I thought I couldn’t love him anymore he’s playing on after that. THERE’S ONLY ONE JOE HART!”
But if fans liked Hart’s bravery, they certainly enjoyed the scoreline even more.
Kyogo Furuhashi and Liel Abada each netted a hat-trick in the league thrashing.
