Arsenal launch £20m Danilo transfer offer with Palmeiras midfielder targeted to ease midfield injury crisis

ARSENAL have reportedly lodged a £20million bid for Palmeiras midfielder Danilo.

The Gunners are keen to bolster their midfield ranks with Mohamed Elneny and Thomas Partey both currently injured.

And Danilo, 21, is the man they have targeted to ease any injury concerns, according to .

A £20m bid is claimed to have been submitted on Tuesday.

But Goal say it is expected that the Brazilian club will turn down the offer.

Further reports elsewhere suggest Palmeiras want £21.5m to sell the Brazilian midfielder.

Arsenal are thought to be open to investing more money into improving the squad ahead of tomorrow's transfer deadline.
