Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis clash in fiery nightclub bust-up and split up by security ahead of proposed fight
RYAN GARCIA and Gervonta Davis were involved in a fiery nightclub clash which saw the pair separated by security.
The American rivals are in talks for a grudge bout targeted for December or January.
But according to Garcia, the fight almost started early after he confronted Davis on a night out.
He said: “You what’s funny, guys? I actually did see Tank in the club. He’s a 'tough guy'. He’s a tough guy.
"He’s very low-key in his hoodie. I went up to his table with me and this guy, and we said, ‘Yo, are we going to make this fight happen?’
“I guess he got offended by that, got all worked up. I was like, ‘Yo, what are you on about, man? Ain’t no respect here?’

"He responded with, ‘Nah, there ain't no respect here.’ I said, ‘Oh, it’s like that. OK, it's like that? OK'.
“Then he grabbed my chain, but I wasn’t worried about it. There are so many security guards there.
"I knew he wasn’t going to take my chain or do anything, really. He just wanted to seem tough. So I said, ‘Wow, it’s like that, huh?’
“Then he responded again, ‘Yeah, it’s like that.’ Then he let go. He had to let go. Then I said something to him. She knows what I said.

"I’m not going to repeat it on live. Just know in the fight, that’s where it really happens."
Davis responded to Garcia's side of the story in a now-deleted tweet and claimed boxing mogul Al Haymon intervened.
He posted: “Al told me to leave him be because he went crying to his lawyer.
"Al got a little scared because they was going to pull out of the fight."
Garcia, 24, most recently stopped Javier Fortuna, 33, in six rounds of their light-welterweight fight in July.
But he is set to move back down to lightweight to face Gervonta Davis, 27, who knocked out Rolando Romero, 27, in May.
