Haaland’s dad says he wants son to test himself in ALL European leagues and hints at two-and-a-half year Man City stay

ERLING HAALAND's father has suggested that he may not be set for a long stay at Manchester City.

Alfie Haaland, who also starred for City, will have Etihad fans getting worried, with his goal machine son tearing up the Premier League.

Erling has bagged 11 goals in his first seven Prem games for the champions and become an Etihad hero already.

He signed for £51.4million this summer after the 22-year-old also proved to be deadly in his spells with RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.

He averaged around a goal a game for both clubs and has continued his career in similar fashion in England.

But now dad Alfie has given City fans food fort thought, as he says his son may still have the desire to play in other major leagues.

Haaland has signed a five-year deal at City, but that is understood to contain break clauses.

: “He could have 2½ years in Germany, 2½ in England, and then in Spain, Italy, France, right?”

“We do not know if it will be like that, but I think he would like to test his abilities in the big leagues.”

Haaland is thought to earn in the region of £400,000 a week and few clubs could match those wages.

Yet the Norway hitman denied he moved to City just for the money.

He added: “When I was a young boy, like everyone, I dreamt about becoming the best footballer in the world and making a living off it.

“Now I do. I think money is important for everyone in this world. To make the most money, that is not the main focus, but you would like to make as much as possible.

"If you can get 5,000 Norwegian krone (about £420) to do a job or 10,000 to do the same job, you take the 10,000.
