‘Comedy of errors’ – Lloris slammed by fans after Tottenham keeper’s howler gifts Arsenal goal in North London derby

HUGO LLORIS has been slammed by fans after a huge mishap gifted Arsenal a goal in the North London derby.
A massive error just after half-time saw Lloris palm a shot into the path of Christian Romero, before the deflection off the defender then landed back at Lloris who failed to collect the ball as it squirmed under him.
This gave Gabriel Jesus the perfect opportunity to net with a poachers finish and put Arsenal into the lead.
And fans were less than forgiving with the error.
One fan said: "Comedy of errors from Lloris."
A second fan said: "How many mistakes does Lloris make? Average keeper."

Another said: "Hugo Lloris always has a mistake in him. That was laughably bad."
"Every time I watch Lloris he makes a horrendous mistake. Such an overrated goalkeeper," remarked another.
Another chose to highlight the club Lloris plays for, proclaiming: "Lloris concedes the ULTIMATE SPURSY goal."
Lloris received a new deal earlier this year, and this fact was highlighted by journalist Samuel Luckhurst, who said: "Spurs have got most things right under Conte but giving Lloris a new contract was a major misstep. Peaked about six years ago."

The game then unravelled for Spurs, with an Emerson Royal red card seeing them go down to 10 men.
Antonio Conte's side then conceded a third goal from Granit Xhaka to see the game end 3-1 to the hosts.
