MANCHESTER United sent scouts to watch Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa on Friday.
With David de Gea's future in doubt, the Red Devils are in the market for a new shotstopper.
Not only is the Spain international out of contract next summer, but his form has been underwhelming this season.
De Gea shipped another six in the 6-3 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday, meaning he's already conceded 14 goals, the fifth most in the Premier League.
Now, the report that Erik ten Hag has turned his attention to Costa.
The report claims that United representatives were in attendance at the Estadio do Dragao against Braga on Friday night.

Costa has already been capped seven times by Portugal and has played 78 times for Porto since making his debut back in 2019.
Ten Hag is hoping to sign someone good with their feet, with De Gea's lack of ability when playing out from the back clear to see.
And that's where Costa could come into play.
The 23-year-old is comfortable in possession and could help Ten Hag go back to his old ways after reducing the amount of playing out the back following the defeat at Brentford.

Costa would cost United £30m, but De Gea is the club's highest paid player, so him leaving would save them around £16m every year in wages.
He played alongside United trio Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal against Czech Republic last week.
