LUIS SUAREZ has revealed he would be open to a return to former club Ajax if he ever feels he is no longer good enough to play for Barcelona.
The Uruguay international, 29, enjoyed a prolific spell with the Amsterdam club between 2007 and 2011 after joining from fellow Dutch outfit Groningen.

After 111 goals in 159 total games for the Eredivisie side, Kenny Dalglish brought him to Liverpool, after which he vowed that he would one day return to the Amsterdam ArenA.
That seemed to be ruled out when he stated his intention to retire at Barcelona - but now admitted a return could still be on the cards if he was ever made to leave the Nou Camp.
Suarez told De Telegraaf in Holland: "All my dreams came true at Barcelona and I hope to stay here for the remainder of my career.
"But I will have to keep playing at the highest level.

"Of course, I would like to return to Ajax some day. Even if it was just to thank Ajax. Ajax are the club that made me famous in Europe."
It has been a good few days for Suarez, who received the European Golden Shoe in celebration of his 40-goal efforts last season on Thursday.
And despite wanting an Ajax return, he would rather see out his career at Catalan giants, having won five major titles since signing for the Spanish giants in 2014.
He said at the awards ceremony: "I hope I can finish my career at Barca but I need to be at the highest level to compete.
"I have fought a lot in my life and, since coming to Barca, I am trying to enjoy it, be happy and win trophies.
"I'm in the best team in the world with the best players. If you are thinking of a target, you can achieve it but the group goal of winning titles comes first. Then there are individual awards and, if I do not win [individual titles], then Leo or Neymar will."
