CRISTIANO RONALDO is happy to leave Manchester United and be the catalyst for a rebuild at Old Trafford.
The United star accused the club of betraying him in an incredible interview with SunSport columnist Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo made a sensational return in the summer of 2021 and scored 24 goals last year.
But he was heavily linked with an exit in the recent window and despite staying, has endured a difficult time on and off the pitch.

Ronaldo has scored just three times in all competitions and has started only FOUR Prem games, while he was recently dropped for refusing to come on.
He hasn't played since the defeat at Aston Villa last weekend after missing the Carabao Cup win over Unai Emery's side and Fulham victory through illness.

Ronaldo has since commented on his future and while he admitted that he still loves the club, he said they need big changes and wouldn't have an issue with moving on.
He said: "As Picasso said, you have to destroy it to rebuild it (the artist's exact quote was: 'Every act of creation is first an act of destruction.') and if they start with me, for me, it's not a problem.
"I love Manchester United, I love the fans, they're always on my side.
"But if they want to do it different… they have to change many, many things."

Several clubs have turned down the opportunity to sign the striker including Napoli and Marseille.
And with United not in action until just before Christmas, the 37-year-old might have played his final game for the club, especially with January fast approaching.
Regardless, he'll now be desperate to do his talking on the pitch when Portugal start their World Cup campaign against Ghana on 24 November.
