Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister supports her brother over Piers Morgan interview after he accuses Man Utd of ‘betraying’ him

CRISTIANO RONALDO's sister Elma Aveiro declared the "truth is being told" after the legendary footballer's EXPLOSIVE interview with Piers Morgan.

The Manchester United ace, 37, took aim at the Old Trafford club, as well as at boss Erik ten Hag, executives and former team-mate Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo accused United figures of trying to force him out of the club.

The explosive interview with SunSport columnist Morgan garnered mixed reactions, with some claiming Ronaldo is tarnishing his Red Devils legacy.

However, CR7's sister Elma couldn't be prouder, as she took to Instagram to support the wantaway star.

Elma's first Instagram story saw her share a quote from Ronaldo's interview.

It said: "I am not silent about doors that I will hardly open again out of pride, but more out of respect for myself."

For her second Instagram story, she re-shared a picture of Ronaldo and Morgan sitting together.

She wrote: "I will always be proud of you my dear."

In her third post, a snippet of the interview was accompanied with the words "biggest pride of my life".

And on Ronaldo saying he has NO RESPECT for United boss Ten Hag, Elma wrote: "The truth is being told."

Tweets of support were then reposted by Elma, alongside love heart emojis.

It's no secret that Elma is not a big fan of Ten Hag, having previously taken aim at the Dutchman on social media.

After Ronaldo was subbed in the 0-0 draw with Newcastle at Old Trafford, Elma said "it's too late" to repair the relationship.

Ronaldo's other sister, Katia, has also publicly defended the footie star.

She took Portugal fans to task for being "forever ungrateful" following criticism of Ronaldo's performances for the national side in September.
