Shakira and ex Gerard Pique ‘agree to sell their £12m Barcelona mansion’ after thrashing out child custody deal
POP star Shakira and her ex-boyfriend, former Barcelona and Spain defender Gerard Pique have reportedly agreed to sell their £12m mansion after a messy breakup.
The Colombian siren reached a custody settlement last week over the couple's two sons Milan, nine, and seven-year-old Sasha.
Shakira, 45, and Pique's house, half an hour's drive from Barcelona city centre on an exclusive gated estate in Esplugues de Llobregat, boasts its own recording studio and gym.
The five-storey house, consisting of two basement levels and three floors above ground, also features a paddle tennis court and mini-football pitch.
Shakira is still living at the luxury home with her kids, but is expected to leave early next year if her father is well enough to make the journey to the United States.
Pique, 35, who retired from football last week after he was sent off as a substitute for Barcelona, is currently living in a penthouse apartment with his new girlfriend, 23-year-old Clara Chia.

The pair last week held marathon 12-hour talks to thrash out a child custody deal with their respective lawyers.
Later in the day, they said in a joint statement: "Our sole objective is to provide them with the utmost security and protection, and we trust that their privacy will be respected.
"We appreciate the interest shown and hope that the children can continue with their lives with the necessary privacy in a safe and calm environment."
The document was signed, "Shakira and Gerard".

As part of the deal, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer is relocating to Florida with her two sons.
Pique, who made 397 appearances for Barcelona between 2008 and this year, will see his children 10 days a month plus holiday time from next year, according to the Catalan newspaper "El Periodico".
It means he will have to split his time between Spain and the US as he looks to forge a new career following his surprise retirement announcement ahead of his final Barca game.
He is expected to start househunting in Florida shortly so he can have a base near his children.

Shakira and Pique
Shakira, who has relatives and close friends in Miami, already owns a £14m mansion in the city.
She is believed to have put it up for sale in 2018, before quietly removing it from the market a few months ago.
Pique's relationship with Barcelona-born beauty Clara emerged shortly after he and Shakira announced their split in June.
The pair had been together for 11 years after first meeting on the set of Shakira's 2010 World Cup single "Waka Waka".
In her new song, Shakira appeared to throw shade at her ex with references to his "narcissism" and "cold as Christmas" attitude.
The video for Monotonia also features a mystery man shooting a hole in Shakira's heart.
In September, Shakira revealed a major reason for her split with Pique in a bombshell interview.
Speaking to the magazine , she claimed that she was forced to "sacrifice" her career for the sake of Pique's, as well as so she could be with the couple's children, but that he hadn't been willing to do the same for her.
Opening up on the "darkest time" of her life, Shakira said some of the details of the split were still "too private to share... everything is so raw and new".
She claimed she had been forced to put her career into "second gear" for the sake of her children, while Pique continued his successful career with Barcelona and Spain.
"As a soccer player, he [Pique] wanted to play football and to win titles and I had to support him," she said.
Referring to the "sacrifice", she added: "Either he [Pique] would stop his contract with Barcelona and move to the US with me, where my career is, or I would have to do that instead."
She also implied that she had been the one making the "effort" in the relationship.
"One of the two had to make that effort and that sacrifice," she said. "And I did it. I put my career in second gear and I came to Spain, to support him so he could play football and win titles."
