Piers Morgan tells Arsenal to make sensational Cristiano Ronaldo transfer as he responds after pal’s Man Utd axing

PIERS MORGAN has urged Arsenal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo after he was axed by Manchester United.

The Red Devils announced that the Portuguese star will leave the club with immediate effect after his damning interview with Morgan.

During the TalkTV interview, Ronaldo slammed the club for not progressing since he originally left the club for Real Madrid in 2009.

The 37-year-old also revealed that he did not respect manager Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo’s play time had been cut dramatically this season as the dutch manager changed the club’s play style, despite him being the club’s top scorer last season.

He also suggested the club did not believe him regarding his daughter’s ill health over the summer.

Since the interview, it seemed like it would only be a matter of time until Ronaldo left the club and now it is official.

Morgan, who got the interview, has responded to the news as he tweeted: “The End”.

He then tweeted: “time for phase 2”, alongside a picture of Ronaldo holding up an Arsenal shirt.

Morgan is inferring that the Gunners should sign the superstar now that he is no longer at Manchester United.
