Marco Verratti relaxes with model wife Jessica on beach in Miami as PSG star gets over Italy’s World Cup heartbreak

ITALY and Paris Saint-Germain ace Marco Verratti is shaking off the World Cup heartbreak by relaxing on a Miami beach with model wife Jessica.

The Euro 2020 winners failed to reach the winter tournament - held in Qatar - after losing their play-off semi-final match to North Macedonia.

Italy also missed out on World Cup 2018 - held in Russia -meaning Verratti has made just two career appearances at the tournament.

And with the group stages of the World Cup coming to a close, instead of watching some of his PSG team-mates in action, Verratti has whisked stunning model wife Jessica away on holiday.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, hit the beach in Miami.

Tattoo-covered Verratti strutted around the beach in multi-coloured swim shorts.

While Jessica, 31, wore a black swimsuit with a necklace and sunglasses.

PSG will be hoping Verratti comes back from his December jet-setting adventures as fresh as a daisy.

The 30-year-old Italian is one of PSG's star men and is the super team's glue in the middle of the park.

PSG currently sit top of Ligue 1, leading Lens by five points.

However, the Parisians will want to win their first Champions League.

PSG are taking on German champions Bayern Munich, who they lost to in the 2020 Champions League final, in the round of 16.

The first leg is being held at the Parc des Princes on February 14.

And the return fixture at the Allianz is on March 8.

PSG also have a front three that are bang in form.

Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have 46 goals between them across all competitions this season.
