Norwich and Newcastle are chasing Swindon goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux
CHAMPIONSHIP duo Norwich City and Newcastle United are both chasing Swindon goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux.
The ex-Liverpool youngster, 22, has caught the eye in League One after making his move from Anfield on a permanent basis in the summer.
Vigouroux, who qualifies for England and Chile, was on loan at the County Ground last season and his form has alerted Championship clubs, with Norwich and Newcastle leading the race.
They see him as a keeper with potential to eventually take the step up to the Premier League if they get promoted from the Championship.
Vigouroux was sent back to Anfield during his loan spell with Swindon back in September last year after he used 5,000 1p coins to pay his £50 fine for turning up late to training.
The young shot stopper began his career at Tottenham Hotspur before making the switch to Liverpool in 2014.
