Cristiano Ronaldo ‘will play GOAT rival Lionel Messi one last time as PSG face Al-Nassr & Al-Hilal combined XI in 2023’
LIONEL MESSI and Cristiano Ronaldo are reportedly set to have one more final showdown in 2023.
Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo completed a free transfer to Al-Nassr on Friday, just over a month after having his Manchester United contract ripped up.
He signed a lucrative £173million-a-year deal with the Middle Eastern outfit to effectively end his career at the top level.
Meanwhile Messi, who fired Argentina to World Cup glory this month, is still riding high with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
With the pair’s El Clasico wars with Real Madrid and Barcelona long in the past, it looked like we had seen the last of them together on the same pitch.
However, it now seems like we will get to see the two greats go at it one more time at the start of the new year.

Messi's PSG side will play a friendly against a combined XI from Saudi sides Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, according to reports.
With Ronaldo now confirmed as Al-Nassr’s new talisman, it is almost certain that he would be involved in the potential clash.
And that should provide an opportunity for the two legends to grace the same pitch for one final occasion.
The icons have met a total of 36 times previously across LaLiga, Champions league and international matches.
