Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris dropped a clanger to put the Gunners ahead after 15 mins before Martin Odegaard made it 2-0 late in the first period.

After the game, Ramsdale went to collect his gloves behind the goal and was kicked by a Spurs fan who tried to jump the barrier.

  • 12. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

Spurs try a quick free-kick, which is hit towards Sessegnon, but Ramsdale is out quickly to stop it.

Spurs then look to charge forward again, but a pass is cut out by the hand of Thomas Partey, who escapes a booking on this occasion.

  • 10. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

A free-kick here for Arsenal, which is set to be whipped in my Martin Odegaard.

Partey wins the header in the middle, but sends it high over the crossbar.

  • 8. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

    Huge chance for Nketiah!

Tottenham look like they are defending on ice for a moment there, and it begins with Hugo Lloris.

A ball hooked over the head of Gabriel Martinelli falls at the feet of Nketiah who hits a half-volley at goal, but it is stopped by the Frenchman in net.

  • 6. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

Sessegnon picks up a really good position again, and is found beautifully by Harry Kane.

His cross again, however, is disappointing.

A bright start for Tottenham so far, but here come Arsenal.

  • 4. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

Zinchenko does really well to win a free-kick when Spurs are pressing the Arsenal defence.

  • 2. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

Son does well to find Sessegnon on the left-hand side, who can't quite get the pace on the cross that he desired.

The atmosphere from a Tottenham point of view is incredible, credit to their fans.

  • 0. Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal get us underway in the first half, with a ball all the way back to Aaron Ramsdale.

  • Five minute warning

Just five minutes to go until kick-off here at The Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

March 2014 was the last time Arsenal won away to Tottenham, with Mikel Arteta as captain that day...

Grab a drink, maybe some snacks, and settle down with us for what promises to be a brilliant North London derby.

  • Kane chasing the record

This is how Tottenham's list of all-time record goalscorers in major competitions looks ahead of the North London derby:

    • Jimmy Greaves - 266
    • Harry Kane - 265
    • Bobby Smith - 208
    • Martin Chivers - 174
    • Cliff Jones - 159

The current Spurs number 10 is just ONE goal away from equalling Jimmy Greaves' record, and to do so in such a huge game would be massive for him.

He has a knack for scoring in these games too, so we will wait and see if he can do it.

  • A first Premier League start

What a way to make your first Premier League start, Pape Matar Sarr.

The Senegalese international is starting for Tottenham for the first time today in the absence of Rodrigo Bentancur.

He was very impressive against Portsmouth in midweek, but it will be interesting to see how the young midfielder copes with the huge step up that he faces today.

He is joined in midfield by a more experienced head in Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who will no doubt have a job and a half on his hands looking after fellow Scandanavian native Martin Odegaard.

There is no denying that he is extremely talented; technically gifted, with a calmness in his game that is admirable at such a young age.

  • What are the odds?

There is a crackle in the air in North London, as Arsenal have a chance to go eight points clear at the top of the PL.

This is how the betting looks ahead of today's London derby, the second one of the day on this super Sunday.

    • Tottenham 12/5
    • The draw 12/5
    • Arsenal 6/5

These odds are correct as of the time of publication according to

  • Predictions?

This is a tough one to call, as you can never really predict what will happen in a North London derby.

Will it be Odegaard who lights up the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with his electric skill and clinical passing?

Or will it be a Heung Min-Son hat-trick that sees Tottenham somehow dismantle this incredible Arsenal side.

    You just can't call it.

However, we are going to back The Gunners to come out on top in this one.

You cannot bet against their sensational form this season, can you?

Let us know who you think is going to come out on top...

  • The main men

Two of the contenders for player of the season are involved in this North London derby.

Martin Odegaard has been absolutely sensational, and was rewarded with the Premier League player of the month award for December.

But someone who always has a say in this fixture is Harry Kane, with the English strikers performances going somewhat under the radar due to Erling Haaland's goal scoring exploits...

This is how the two key men match up against each other today in terms of stats.

Harry Kane and Martin Odegaard have been sensational so far this season.

  • Conte on Arsenal clash

Antonio Conte knows the importance of a victory in today's North London derby.

“Arsenal are doing very well," he said.

"Now they have to show they can stay there until the end of the season because I’m sure Manchester City doesn’t agree and will feel the real possibility to win again, especially because Liverpool already lost a lot of points – the same for Chelsea and Manchester United. It is a battle between Arsenal and Manchester City.

“You are in that moment the best team in the league. For this reason, everybody wants to beat you.

"For sure, Arsenal has to face this situation [as] favourites to win the league. They have to show they are good to face this type of situation."

  • Mudryk hijack

Arsenal will be focussed on Spurs today - but one thing that will be on manager Arteta's mind is Mykhaylo Mudryk's transfer to Chelsea.

The Gunners were on the verge of agreeing a deal with Shakhtar for the 22-year-old winger.

But Chelsea ghosted in at the 11th-hour to secure a deal with the Ukrainian team on Saturday night.

And today, Mudryk was confirmed as Chelsea's new player, having signed an eight-and-a-half year contract for £88m.

  • Arteta on Spurs

Arsenal can go eight points clear today with a win.

"The way that we have performed and the results that got confidence-wise has put us in a good position," he said ahead of the game.

"But that is something that you have to show every match and every opponent, especially every away game brings challenges and this is no different.

"We are going to have to go there, play our way and win the match."
