Nikki and Brie Bella slam WWE for not featuring anyone from women’s revolution including Sasha Banks at RAW 30
WWE Hall of Famers the Bella Twins have slammed the company for failing to showcase the Women’s Evolution on last night’s Raw special.
A host of legendary names including the likes of Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker and Ric Flair all returned to our screens as WWE celebrated the 30th anniversary of Monday Night Raw.
Both former women’s champions Nikki and Brie Bella, 39, were also advertised to be on the broadcast.
However, neither of the twin sisters appeared on the show and they were quick to take aim at WWE afterwards.
A host of retro clips were shown throughout the programme to highlight the history of Raw.
But the Women’s Evolution was nowhere to be seen in those video packages – and the Bellas were furious.
Speaking on Instagram Live following Raw, they highlighted the issue while referencing two other former female wrestling stars that are now with other companies – AEW’s Saraya, known better as Paige, and NJPW’s Mercedes Mone, who was Sasha Banks in WWE.
Nikki said: “Another good memory on Raw. How didn’t they showcase anything from the Women’s Evolution?”
Brie intervened with: “Also, the way we did our matches on there…”
Her sister then cut her off and said: “Because Sasha Banks is in it and they’re like, we can’t. Mercedes is too over and we can’t say her name.”

Brie then continued: “There’s a couple other girls and ‘Raya. There’s a bunch of us they don’t wanna show. That’s fine.”
Which led to Nikki stating: “That’s fine. When you do what they don’t wanna do…”
Before Brie added: “It’s not what you don’t do, it’s what you do-do.”
The identical twins rose to fame in 2008 after they signed their first contract with WWE.
Since then, they have become household names, with many following their careers in and out of the ring.
They made their WWE debut in October 2008 and later became Divas Champions.
Brie also made history by becoming the first twin in WWE History to win the Divas Championship, while Nikki holds the record for the longest individual reign at 301 days.
Outside of wrestling, the twin sisters are known for their social media presence and have amassed over 3.51million subscribers on YouTube.
Since 2014, Brie has been married to Bryan Danielson, a professional wrestler who uses the name Daniel Bryan.
The two met through wrestling in 2010, after they were paired up for a fictional storyline on Monday Night Raw.
Brie and Bryan are also the parents of Birdie Joe, born May 9, 2017, and Buddy Dessert, born August 1, 2020.
Since 2019, Nikki has been engaged to Artem Chigvintsev, who is known as a professional dancer.
Artem and Nikki met while partnered on Dancing With The Stars in 2017, and welcomed their first son Matteo, on July 31, 2020 – a day before her sister had son Buddy.
Prior to her relationship with Artem, Nikki was engaged to John Cena.
