North Korean Goalkeeper and manager of under 16 team have been fined and banned by the Asian Football Confederation

Goalkeeper deliberately conceded goal so his side would have an easier draw for the next round of the AFC under 16 Championship

A North Korean goalkeeper has been fined and banned for a year for conceding a goal and deliberately losing a game so his side could face easier opposition in the next round of the AFC under 16 Championship.

The goal was scored by the opposition goalkeeper as Uzbekistan beat North Korea 3-1 as  allowed the ball to bounce over him and hit the back of the net.

The Asian Football Confederation have also found manager Yung Jong-su guilty of throwing the game and has been subsequently banned and fined along with his goalkeeper.

Jong-su was fined £4,000 whilst the 16 year old keeper had to swallow a bill of £800 whilst North Korea's FA were hit with a £16,000 fine .

It was obvious that the goal was allowed to go in as Paek-ho still had the chance to save the ball from going in after he seemingly ducked for the ball to go over him.
