Newcastle United will be keeping hold of their stars come the January transfer window as Premier League clubs circle their talent

NEWCASTLE have vowed they will NOT sell any of their stars in January.

Centre-half and captain Jamaal Lascelles , 22, is attracting interest from Chelsea, while others are also on the Premier League radar.

But Newcastle chiefs have insisted they do not need to cash in on any of their best players in the winter window.

In fact, owner Mike Ashley claims the club are even ready to knock back mega bids this January.

In-form Newcastle host Cardiff today as they attempt to return to the Prem at the first time of asking.

And boss Rafa Benitez has been told there will be money available in the transfer window to strengthen his squad.

They still have cash to burn at St James’ Park, thanks to the £30million they banked from Tottenham for Moussa Sissoko on deadline day in August.
