Pedro Porro transfer to Tottenham from Sporting back ON with Prem giants ready to splash out £45m for wing-back

TOTTENHAM have finally agreed a deal for Sporting Lisbon right-back Pedro Porro — after a turbulent 24 hours.
The Spaniard, 23, was on the verge of undergoing a medical with Spurs hashing out a £45million package.
But Lisbon put brakes on the transfer after believing they deserved more from the deal.
Spurs will now give up their rights to a percentage of a future sale of former academy graduate Marcus Edwards.
Antonio Conte’s side were due 50 per cent on any future sale by Lisbon but have now climbed down to 35 per cent to get Porro over the line.
As a result, Spurs have rescheduled his medical for tomorrow ahead of signing him before the 11pm deadline.

Manchester City are due to receive around £9m of the transfer fee after installing a sell-on clause of their own when the defender made his two-year loan at Sporting permanent last summer.
Sporting are closing in on a permanent deal for ex-Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin as a replacement.
Porro’s arrival in North London will allow summer signing Djed Spence to go out on loan with the 22-year-old locked in talks with Ligue Un side Rennes.
He could join Tottenham team-mate Joe Rodon at the French club after playing just five minutes of Premier League football this season.
