Jake Paul claims he suffered arm injury and got sick during camp for Tommy Fury fight before being booed by crowd
JAKE PAUL has claimed he suffered with injury and illness in the lead up to his split decision defeat to Tommy Fury.
Fury, 23, inflicted a first professional boxing loss on YouTube sensation Paul, 26, after an eight-round dust-up in Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening.
And while Paul gave Fury praise for securing the victory, he also came up with reasons why he was not at 100 per cent.
Speaking in the ring immediately after the decision, he said: "All respect to Tommy, he won. I think we deserve that rematch.
"I don't know if I agree with the judges. I got a 10-8 round twice.
"I felt flat, I got sick really bad twice in this camp, injured my arm."

Paul was booed by some sections of the crowd after the comments about his preparation.
But fans are set to see a rematch after the American confirmed he is planning to step into the ring with Fury once more.
During his post-fight press conference, Paul said: "I just spoke to Tommy in the medical room and he said ‘yeah, let’s go. let’s do it again’."

"I want to see my baby girl and my missus and spend some time at home."
