Speaking to BT Sport ahead of his lightweight bout with Alvarez, the controversial fighter said: “I just could not give a b******s. The whole thing is just weird to me.

McGregor has never been shy in expressing his views or causing a storm.

He was slammed for posing with a shot gun and then a machine gun earlier this year.

The  Dublin-born star also launched a Facebook rant over wearing a poppy and blasted "f**k you and the Queen" last year.

And he blasted WWE superstars "messed up p*****s" ahead of his UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz.
