And the blunt nature of their performance in the last 16 of the competition has left many Lilywhites fans calling for Conte to be sacked.

The Italian, 53, has watched his side exit the FA Cup and Champions League within the last week.

His contract is up at the end of the season, but he admitted after the Milan disappointment that he could be axed before the summer.

And Tottenham supporters demonstrated their desire to see Mauricio Pochettino back at the club as they chanted his name on their way out of the ground.

A posted on social media showed them singing: "He's magic, you know, Mauricio Pochettino."

Pochettino, 51, was sacked by Spurs in 2019 after a five-year spell at the club and replaced by Jose Mourinho.

He guided Tottenham to three top four finishes - including second place in 2017.

The Argentine also inspired them to reach the 2019 Champions League final.

Since leaving Spurs, he was appointed Paris Saint-Germain boss at the beginning of 2021.

But after 18 months in the role, in which he won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, he was dismissed at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, Spurs are on their third manager since sacking Pochettino.

Mourinho was axed after less than 18 months and replaced by permanent successor Nuno Espirito Santo.

He was then sacked four months into the job and replaced by Conte.

But Tottenham fans are now thoroughly unhappy with the style of football and calling for change.
