But you can still catch all the action which will be broadcast live tonight on The Sun’s Facebook page here .

The Remembrance Rumble is the brainchild of former D Squadron fighter ‘Big’ Phil Campion, 47, who took part in Operation Barrass, the SAS raid in Sierra Leone in 2000 to liberate Brit soldiers held by brutal militia gang the West Side Boys.

He said: “The ethos behind this is we all fought for countries and now we are going to fight for our beliefs.

“We are going to give the public something they have never seen before.

“Get on Facebook Live and catch the action, you will not be disappointed, I guarantee it.”

The American squad has been compiled by former Navy SEAL Brandon Webb, 39, who trained Chris Kyle – the most deadly sniper in US military history – immortalised in the movie American Sniper.

So far he has organised US Marine Corps snipers and US Navy SEALs, all from the US Special Ops fraternity.

Each will be matched by weight class to the UK team of former SAS fighters.

There will be SIX bouts each lasting three two-minute rounds.

Brandon, said: “I thought it was a great idea, especially in the Special Ops community the guys have the same mind-set, we’re cut from the same cloth, we all come from these crazy backgrounds.

“And I just think it’s a good way to work together to raise awareness around the veterans issues which we are still having on both sides of the pond.

“It is going to be a spectacle like no other – make sure you tune in.”

Each fighter has nominated a charity to raise funds for.

And Billy Billingham - star of Channel 4 hit show SAS Who Dares Wins - has been added to the line-up.
