WrestleMania Night 2 results: Roman Reigns retains, Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey stand tall, Shane McMahon botches
WRESTLEMANIA 39 has gone down in the history books after some amazing action at the SoFi Stadium in Hollywood.
Brock Lesnar opened the Show of Shows with his match against the 7ft, 3in goliath Omos, whom he hoisted over his shoulders and beat with a thunderous F5.
Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler followed in the footsteps of their fellow UFC great when they prevailed in the Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way Match.
The MMA duo took on Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya and Shotzi as well as Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
Rousey, who barely competed on account of her injured arm, won the match for her team when she made Shotzi tap out to the Armbar.
Intercontinental Champion Gunther as well as his challengers Sheamus and Drew McIntyre then stole the show in a stunning Triple Threat Match.
The three heavyweights took each other to the limit in a heated fight that saw them brutalise one another.
Gunther retained after he Powerbombed Sheamus on McIntyre and repeated the same move on the Scotsman for the pin.
RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair also retained by beating Asuka, who mistimed the Mist and was bested by a devastating KOD.
After some perfect performances, Shane McMahon suffered one of WrestleMania’s biggest ever botches on his surprise return to take on the show’s host The Miz in an impromptu match.
McMahon tore his quad and co-host Snoop Dogg filled in to beat Miz with a People’s Elbow.
Edge then finally picked up some revenge from The Judgment Day by beating Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell Match.
The WWE Hall of Famer pinned Balor after a Con-Chai-To and became only the second wrestler to overcome the Irishman in his Demon persona.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes closed the show in a stunning main event.

Rhodes was just inches away from “finishing the story” when he hit Reigns with two Cross Rhodes.
But The Tribal Chief’s cousin Solo Sikoa took the challenger out with a Samoan Spike while the titleholder’s manager Paul Heyman distracted the referee.
The Head of the Table then delivered a thunderous Spear to retain the title, which he has been holding for a whopping 945 days.
